To meet the needs of Vida Mariscos, we implemented a detailed fire alarm system installation tailored to the restaurant's requirements. We began by installing a 50 Point Addressable Fire Panel, which serves as the central control unit for the fire alarm system, managing and monitoring all connected devices. For ease of access and monitoring, we installed a remote fire annunciator with an LCD display, allowing clear and convenient communication of the system’s status.
To ensure robust and continuous communication, we included an M2M fire alarm communicator. This device is crucial for transmitting alarm signals to monitoring centers, enhancing the overall reliability of the system. For audible and visual alerts, we installed white ceiling horn strobes and speaker strobes, which provide both sound and light notifications during an emergency.
Manual activation of the alarm system is facilitated by dual-action addressable pull stations strategically placed throughout the restaurant. Additionally, we installed DMP heat detectors rated at 135 F with 711s modules to detect temperature changes indicative of a fire. To expand the system’s versatility, we included a micro input module.
To protect the system from power surges, we added surge protectors, and to keep all critical documentation organized and accessible, we provided a red fire alarm document box. The installation process also involved comprehensive planning and permitting to ensure compliance with local regulations.
For cabling, we used high-quality materials: 16/2 red solid plenum fire alarm cable (1,000'), 18/2 solid plenum fire cable (gray), and 18/4 white solid plenum fire alarm cable (1,000'). These cables are essential for maintaining reliable connections between the system’s components.
Lastly, we supplied various accessories necessary for the complete and efficient installation of the fire alarm system. Our services ensured that Vida Mariscos now has a fully functional, compliant, and reliable fire alarm system, enhancing the safety of their restaurant and providing peace of mind to both staff and customers.
